DFactory Barcelona, the internationally renowned Industry 4.0 ecosystem promoted by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), will host the first edition of the Global AM Hubs Summit from September 16 to 18, the major international forum and meeting point for Additive Manufacturing in Europe. This pioneering international event will bring together key leaders, organizations, hubs, associations, and entities from the Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) ecosystem, as well as numerous technology providers from across the additive manufacturing value chain.
The Global AM Hubs Summit, supported by CZFB as the institutional partner of the event, will mark the official launch of Addliance, the new European alliance of 3D printing hubs. Addliance aims to establish a stable and collaborative international framework to promote the adoption of these technologies and is driven by sectoral entities, organizations, and institutions from across Europe.
The Global AM Hubs Summit will be a milestone event, bringing together for the first time more than 20 additive manufacturing hubs and organizations from across Europe, along with industrial leaders, experts, sectoral associations, universities, and institutional representatives leading the transformation of advanced manufacturing. This first edition will feature a comprehensive approach focused on people, planet, and prosperity, addressing key topics such as the impact of additive manufacturing in various sectors (healthcare, mobility, defense, sustainability…), the development of talent and specialized training, cross-border cooperation, and the role of additive technologies in Europe’s industrial resilience and competitiveness.

It will also include an Application & Technology Showroom at DFactory Barcelona, where leading companies in the sector will showcase their solutions, materials, software, demonstrations, and real success stories of AM applications in various fields. The event will also offer various institutional and industrial networking activities, as well as a program of visits to centers of excellence and innovative companies within the additive manufacturing ecosystem in Catalonia.
