Q.ANT appoints Kim Fischer as Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Q.ANT, a leading provider of photonic processors for energy-efficient high-performance computing and artificial intelligence, is strengthening its management team with the addition of Kim Fischer who has joined the company as Vice President Marketing and Communications on February 1, 2026.

In this role, Fischer will lead the strategic development of Q.ANT’s global brand and market positioning. Her responsibilities will include strengthening communications with investors, customers, partners, and the media as well as raising the company’s profile as it scales its photonic computing platform internationally.

“I am very pleased that we were able to attract Kim Fischer for this key role at Q.ANT,” said Dr. Michael Förtsch, Founder and CEO of Q.ANT. “Kim impressed us with her proven ability to translate technological leadership into clear market positioning in an international context. This capability is a key driver of our continued growth.”

Fischer brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic corporate and brand development, building new business areas, and positioning future-oriented technologies in international markets. Her work focuses on translating complex technological innovations into clear, relevant, and confidence-building narratives for decision-makers in business, industry, science and politics.

During her career, she has been responsible for corporate and product communications, brand management, and transformation initiatives in international technology, service, and trade fair organizations. She has supported major innovation platforms, founded her own start-ups, including the content and sustainability platform aware_the_platform, and most recently held a management role at an international brand and strategy consultancy within the Publicis Group.

“Q.ANT represents a technological innovation with the potential to fundamentally change the future of high-performance computing and AI,” said Kim Fischer. “I see my role as translating this technological excellence into clear and strategically effective communication in order to build and anchor visibility, trust, and relevance in the relevant markets over the long term. The focus is not on technology as an end in itself, but on its concrete added value for companies, society, and sustainable infrastructures.”

With the appointment of Fischer, Q.ANT continues to accelerate its international scaling, strengthen its global market presence, and further establish itself as a leading provider of photonic computing technologies.
