For almost twenty years, Frank Wieland has shaped the successful development of Minebea Intec in various roles – most recently as CSO. Now he is once again taking on this key role in the management team. In this role, he is responsible for sales, marketing, product management and service and will focus in particular on the further expansion of international business. The aim is to strengthen the company’s presence in growth regions – such as Asia – and to serve customers worldwide even better. “It’s about successfully placing our new generation of products on the market and expanding our market position in the face of global competition,” explains Wieland. “In addition, efficient sales structures, proximity to our customers and local support are key factors for further growth.”
Strategic continuity in management
The personnel change follows the retirement of Peter Grimley from the position of CSO. Grimley will remain with Minebea Intec as Vice Chairman and in this role will focus on specialised topics and support the Board in an advisory capacity.
