HIROSE Electric Co. Ltd, a world-class manufacturer of connectors, has introduced the KW30 series of Wire-to-Board connectors for high-vibration environments.
Due to its innovative design and materials, the KW30 series is suitable and reliable in harsh environments. Built with high vibration resistance, the connectors’ rib design provides a secure fit when mating the plug and receptacle. The series passed the 2,000 Hz vibration test.
The KW30 2-point contact and clipping design of the female receptacle contact ensures contact stability. The plug crimp contact has a box shape that does not easily get caught or deformed. This, combined with an effective mating length of 0.7 mm, provides the KW30 with high contact reliability.
KW30 is available in Wire-to-Board form with applicable cables ranging from 28-32 AWG and in various variations, including straight and right-angle interface types. It is a UL/C-UL standard-certified product.
The connector has been created with safety in mind. It is designed with positive locks that prevent incomplete mating, mis-insertion, and lock damage. When mated correctly, there is a clear tactile click.
The KW30 series is part of the SignalBee product family, which consists of compact, high-performance Wire-to-Board and Wire-to-Wire connectors designed for industrial applications.
Suitable applications include office equipment, medical devices, home appliances, industrial robots, FA controllers, flat panel TVs, motors, motor drives, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, mounters and production line equipment.
