ASIC designer to showcase expertise at embedded world

Swindon Silicon Systems to showcase full turnkey ASIC design for embedded systems

Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design and manufacture specialist, Swindon Silicon, will attend embedded world 2026, where it will showcase its mixed‑signal ASIC expertise and full turnkey development model. embedded world, which will take place from 10 to 12 March at Messe Nürnberg, Germany, is set to draw thousands of engineers, developers and technology leaders from across the embedded sector.

Recognised as the leading international event for embedded technologies, embedded world focuses on the hardware, software and system-level innovations shaping the next generation of embedded products. In particular, the 2026 edition will spotlight edge AI, system integration, functional safety, long-term availability and energy-efficient designs, all of which are areas where ASIC technology can deliver significant advantages.

Swindon Silicon delivers high‑performance custom Integrated Circuits (ICs), with more than one billion of its ASICs currently in use worldwide. Its technology is commonly used in industrial, automotive and aerospace environments, where long-term reliability, robust performance and guaranteed supply are essential.

The company also supplies a significant proportion of the global Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) market through its parent company, Sensata Technologies, highlighting its ability to deliver safety-critical ASICs in high volumes while meeting demanding performance and quality requirements.

At the show, Swindon Silicon will showcase how its full turnkey approach helps customers achieve faster time to market, reduce system complexity and secure long-term supply.

Swindon Silicon manages every stage of the ASIC lifecycle, from early feasibility studies and specification work through analogue and digital design, packaging, in‑house production testing and long‑term supply. This level of control helps customers reduce risk, avoid unnecessary costs and secure consistent quality throughout the lifetime of their product.

“Embedded systems are required to do more than ever, with tighter integration and intelligence built directly onto devices,” said Joe Gilfillan, Senior Design Engineer at Swindon Silicon. “Embedded World gives us the perfect platform to demonstrate how our full turnkey ASIC model can support the growing complexity of modern designs.

“By combining multiple functions on a single chip, ASICs reduce board space, power consumption and secure long-term supply. These are all critical design specifications for engineers working in industrial, automotive and aerospace embedded technology applications.”

Swindon Silicon will be available to discuss real design challenges at stand 4‑671 in hall 4 embedded world 2026. They will demonstrate how an ASIC can support complex embedded applications. For more information, visit the website.
