Apex Dynamics UK appoints Andrew Parsons as new General Manager

Following 20% growth in 2024, Apex Dynamics UK has appointed Andrew Parsons as its new General Manager, promoting him from National Sales Manager after six years with the gearbox specialist.

Apex Dynamics UK, an expert supplier of planetary and other servo gearboxes and solutions, has appointed Andrew Parsons as its new General Manager. Following impressive 20% growth in 2024, his appointment comes at a pivotal moment, as his extensive experience will help steer the company’s future expansion and direction.

In his new role as General Manager, Parsons takes on a broader leadership role, overseeing both Apex’s daily operations and its growth plans. His responsibilities include managing the UK sales team, serving as ‘Technical Lead’ to co-ordinate technical support, training and documentation for clients, and collaborating with Apex’s Managing Director Mike Gulliford to devise new strategies and targets.

Apex Dynamics recently moved into a larger premises in the Midlands to meet growing demand for the company’s extensive and expanding portfolio of over 50,000 precision gearing products, including servo gearboxes, rack-and-pinion sets and connectors. The new office and warehouse will enable the company to grow its business even further, as it expands its portfolio of customers, offering expertise, solutions and support to businesses across the UK and Ireland, all with the company’s 2-3 week lead times, delivery guarantee and five-year warranty.

Andrew brings 25 Years’ of experience to his new role

Andrew comes into his new role with 25 years of engineering experience in automation, comprising a decade in production engineering followed by 15 years in engineering sales. As National Sales Manager at Apex Dynamics UK he has achieved year-on-year growth for each of the last five years, and his sales, engineering, and technical knowhow make him an ideal General Manager. He also brings additional leadership experience and energy through his love of football. He is a Youth Football Coach for Southside United Football Club and a dedicated Arsenal supporter. Andrew enjoys being active, including running, walking, cycling, DIY and spending time with family. He is participating in the Race for Life marathon to raise funds for Cancer Research later this year.

As General Manager, Andrew reports to Apex Dynamics Managing Director Mike Gulliford at the company’s new UK headquarters in Nuneaton, Staffordshire.
