Finerge Streamlines Information and Management Activities Using Glartek’s Connected Worker Solution

Glartek, a leading provider of innovative Connected Worker solutions powered by AR for the manufacturing and asset-intensive industries, has today announced the positive outcomes of its collaboration with Finerge, one of the largest renewable energy producers in Europe. This partnership introduced Glartek’s Connected Worker solution and centralized information on a single platform, significantly enhancing the efficiency of Finerge’s field-service operations and reducing managerial efforts.

Finerge operates approximately 89 wind farms, 17 solar farms, and around 900 wind turbines. Recognizing the need for innovation and digitalization, this leader in sustainable energy has invested in a solution that centralized all aspects of its operations management, maintenance activities, safety equipment checks, and asset inventory.

The introduction of Glartek’s Connected Worker improved collaboration and communication across various teams by allowing managers and frontline workers to access information in real time. The platform facilitates comprehensive management of periodic tasks, from managers’ planning to technicians’ task execution. Additionally, Glartek’s solution provides a comprehensive overview of operations, helping minimize downtime and anticipate potential breakdowns.

Previously, reporting relied heavily on emails and phone calls. Using Glartek’s Connected Worker solution, all information was integrated into the platform, enabling easy access and consultation for team members, including those based in different geographical areas. “As a result of the growth that has been felt in recent years, Finerge needed to invest in innovation and the digitalization of the company. Glartek’s asset management software solution comes within the framework of other software that we are also developing that allow greater agility and connectivity between teams and ensures that a policy of cooperation between Finerge teams is not lost.” Hugo Carvalho, Head of Asset Management at Finerge. Frontline workers can now use mobile devices to check work instructions, execute tasks and report observations, ensuring that all operations are tracked in real time.

“Our collaboration with Finerge marks a significant step in enhancing the digitalization of renewable energy operations. We are proud to provide a solution that not only improves efficiency but also supports Finerge’s commitment to innovation and sustainability” said Bruno Duarte, CEO at Glartek
