Dassault Systèmes at Hannover Messe 2023: Implementing Sustainable Production Processes with Virtual Twin Experience Solutions

Dassault Systèmes will be focusing on the topics sustainability and future viability at Hannover Messe 2023 from April 17 to 21, 2023 at booth D26 in hall 17. The technology company will show how digital continuity is enabled across the entire value chain, while sustainability aspects are taken into account during every step of the decision-making process.

Establishing efficient processes, cutting costs, reducing the ecological footprint – these are just some of the many challenges companies face. Therefore, they are challenged to create digital processes and develop agile methods to remain innovative. Breaking down silo solutions and improving collaboration is essential to achieving this.

At Hannover Messe, Dassault Systèmes will be showcasing how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform enables companies to collaborate across departments and organizations, improve processes through virtual environments, and drive sustainable innovation.

Showcase: Virtual Twin Experience and Augmented Reality

The showcase focuses on the shop floor and demonstrates how the real and virtual worlds merge with the help of a virtual twin experience. For this purpose, the demo at the booth offers four use cases from manufacturing and after-sales service around the use of virtual twin solutions and augmented reality, for example as assistance systems in assembly and maintenance as well as a supporting or fully automated solution in quality inspection.

The booth visitors will experience, among other things, a robot-guided camera system that compares the actual condition of a product with its target condition. This helps employees to quickly recognize whether the state of construction is correct or if changes are necessary. The goal of the virtual twin experience is to ensure that employees are supported in their daily work. Additionally, it enables quality inspection through the use of data – sustainably, efficiently and always centered around humans.

Partners of Dassault Systèmes will also be on site to demonstrate how they are using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to drive innovation – including AES and OMRON.
