SECO S.p.A. (“SECO” or the “Company”) today announced the launch of Clea 2.0 Agentic Framework, the latest release of its proprietary software framework, that enables the deployment of AI models and applications at the Edge with just one click. Designed for users across the Edge AI value chain — from developers and business users to OEMs, system integrators and distributors — Clea provides a unified, hardware-agnostic platform to deploy, manage and orchestrate applications across SECO and third-party devices, simplifying the transition from development to industrial-scale deployment. Organisations can register now for early access, free of charge until 30 April 2027.
From Edge AI pilots to industrial deployment
Deploying AI models and applications across different Edge hardware platforms often requires complex integration, device-specific configurations and fragmented management tools. Clea 2.0 removes this complexity, by unifying application deployment and lifecycle management across supported hardware architectures. The new software release enhances SECO’s strategy of combining edge computing hardware with proprietary software to help customers move from AI development and testing to industrial-scale operations.
Key capabilities include:
- One-click deployment of AI models and applications. Clea simplifies the deployment of AI models and applications directly to Edge devices through a unified workflow. Once set-up, applications can be deployed across supported hardware platforms with a single click, reducing integration work across heterogeneous fleets.
- Natural-Language Interaction & Fleet Orchestration. Clea features a native Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that turns complex, multi-step requests into coordinated fleet operations. AI agents act within each user’s identity and permissions, with actions retained for traceability.
- Hardware-agnostic deployment. Clea supports SECO and third-party hardware across platforms, allowing customers to scale Edge AI without maintaining a separate deployment workflow for every device architecture.
- Governed operations at scale. Sandbox campaigns, granular role- and attribute-based access controls and multi-tenant isolation help organizations manage fleets securely as deployments grow.
“Industrial AI creates value when companies can scale a validated use case across a governed fleet without rebuilding their technology stack. With Clea 2.0 Agentic Framework, we are giving customers a consistent foundation to bring AI to Edge devices, manage it securely across fleets, and develop new digital services as their needs evolve.” stated Fausto Di Segni, Chief IoT & AI Officer at SECO.
Clea 2.0 supports industrial applications ranging from visual quality inspection and predictive maintenance to operator assistance, robotics and Physical AI systems. Business users can create customised dashboards, while OEMs and channel partners can build, brand and resell software-enabled services for their customers.
