From silicon to cloud and back: Arcane Four brings embedded development expertise to electronica 2026

Arcane Four Software will make its debut at electronica 2026 (Munich, 10-13 November), introducing European electronics manufacturers to its integrated approach to embedded software, human-machine interface (HMI), cloud and mobile application development. Exhibiting in the Ontario Pavilion, Hall B5, Stand 560, the Canadian embedded specialist will demonstrate how its expertise across the connected product software stack, spanning low-level embedded systems, real-time operating systems, graphical interfaces, scalable backend systems, and companion mobile applications, helps original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) bring complex, connected products to market more reliably.

Arcane Four’s distinguishing strength lies in its ability to work across the entire product stack, from the hardware interface and operating system through applications and displays that people interact with and onward to cloud connectivity and mobile experiences. Rather than treating embedded software, HMI, cloud, and mobile development as separate disciplines, its embedded specialists bring them together, addressing integration and data-flow challenges that can otherwise emerge late in the development process. This full-stack perspective is particularly valuable in applications where a responsive, intuitive interface must coexist with demanding real-time processing, connectivity, reliability, and remote visibility requirements.

Arcane Four has extensive experience with QNX and embedded Linux, combining platform-level engineering with the development of sophisticated graphical interfaces using technologies such as GL Studio, Unity and Crank Storyboard. Its software services support customers in the medical, automotive, industrial, robotics and transportation sectors.

“There’s often a disconnect between the teams developing the embedded platform, those responsible for what the user sees and experiences, and the groups building the cloud or mobile services that complete the product,” says Jonathan Hacker, CTO of Arcane Four Software. “Our developers understand all of these layers. We can work close to the hardware, solve the underlying software integration problems, develop the interface that brings the system to life, and ensure clean connectivity to the cloud and companion apps. That breadth of expertise is particularly important when you’re building products where reliability, usability and remote capability all matter.”

Hacker will also bring this cross-disciplinary engineering perspective to the electronica Embedded Forum on Tuesday 10 November, from 10:35 to 11:20, participating in the panel discussion “Building the Embedded Platforms for Tomorrow’s Mobility – From Silicon to Software-Defined Vehicles.” The panel will take place at the Embedded Forum in Hall C6, Forum C6.241.
