Swindon Silicon Systems to showcase full turnkey ASIC development at Microelectronics UK 2026

Application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design and supply specialist Swindon Silicon Systems, a Sensata Technologies company, will showcase its custom silicon experience and full turnkey development model at Microelectronics UK 2026 at Stand D31.

The event will take place at ExCeL London from 29 to 30 September 2026, bringing together thousands of attendees, exhibitors and speakers from the semiconductor, photonics and embedded systems communities to address the future of UK microelectronics.

Semiconductor, photonic and embedded technologies increasingly need to work together within a single system. Decisions made at the silicon level can affect power consumption, board architecture, testing and long-term product support. Considering custom silicon early in product development can therefore help engineering teams address requirements across the wider system.

At the show, Swindon Silicon will demonstrate how ASICs can help engineers develop electronics tailored to the technical and lifecycle requirements of their applications. By integrating selected analogue, digital and sensor interface functions into a purpose-built device, an ASIC can support a more compact system design.

This can reduce component count, manage power more effectively, protect specific interfaces and plan for long-term supply. The result is silicon designed to fit the system, rather than forcing the system to work around standard components.”

Swindon Silicon Systems will also showcase its full turnkey ASIC development model, which supports customers from initial concept through to design, manufacturing, production test and long-term supply. By working with a single partner throughout the ASIC lifecycle, customers can more easily manage technical risk and supply continuity throughout the life of their product.
