SoftBank Robotics UK and Keenon Robotics Announce Strategic Partnership for EMEA to Launch Automated Tray Delivery Solutions

The two companies will develop a variety of automated and intelligent tray delivery systems to help with challenges in the service industry, hospitality, education and elderly care.

SoftBank Robotics UK (SBRUK), the EMEA arm of the global leader in collaborative robotics (cobotics), today announced a strategic partnership with Keenon Robotics, an artificial intelligence enterprise committed to providing intelligent unmanned delivery solutions for global enterprises. The strategic partnership will expedite the deployment of robotics solutions across many sectors, not limited to hospitality, education, and elderly care.

As staffing and recruitment issues continue across many sectors, the partnership will accelerate service robots to provide both short-term and long-term solutions to these problems, as well as helping improve guest satisfaction in locations such as hotels and catering establishments. There is a huge opportunity for businesses to now embrace new technologies and adopt new business models to drive both employee engagement, retention, and increase productivity.

“We are excited to work in partnership with Keenon Robotics. By applying advanced intelligent service robots and AI technology, they have created efficient, stable and reliable solutions, helping enterprises in many sectors around the world improve service efficiency,” said Stefano Bensi, General Manager of SoftBank Robotics UK.

“This partnership enables SBRUK to expand our focus on automation by addressing not only staffing concerns that are happening worldwide, but a variety of problems that the service industry, and many others, are currently facing.”
