Raising machine safety standards for all

Euchner announces free-to-access webinar series

To raise awareness of machinery safety and encourage regulatory compliance, Euchner is hosting a series of free online webinars. In these sessions, experts from Euchner, one of the world’s leading safety engineering specialists, give an easy-to-understand insight into everything from compliance with legislation to the safe operation of machines and plants.  You can register for the sessions here.

Euchner is hosting the sessions fortnightly, free of charge. Each session is concise, lasting 30 minutes to avoid taking too much time out of attendees’ working days. The webinars offer an overview of a particular topic with the chance to ask questions to leading experts. Webinar topics include the new features of EN ISO 13849-1 and EN ISO 14119 — two of the main standards that guide machinery safety and guard locking. Meanwhile, future sessions will cover things like risk assessments and safe maintenance, both critical topics.

To help safeguard machine operators and maintenance staff, Euchner offers a wide range of innovative safety devices, from emergency stop devices to light curtains and its revolutionary MGB2 Multifunctional Gate box. The company also provides various technical services and support to help ensure compliance. These include inspections and safety assessments. It also offers a compliance audit service to determine whether a facility meets the needs of The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).

“Machinery safety is critical in automotive plants, packaging facilities and other industrial environments but its importance is often overlooked,” explains Joe Ardley, Machinery Safety Specialist at Euchner. “We decided to launch the webinar series to help bridge this knowledge gap and raise awareness of the different areas that can impact machinery safety and compliance.

“The webinars combine the knowledge of our globally renowned experts, and we’ve all put a lot of work into these sessions because we want to share our knowledge with the wider industry,” added Ardley. “We’ve already had a couple of successful sessions and we’re looking forward to hosting the others!”

You can register for any of the sessions, free of charge, here.
