Queclink Targets European Expansion with the Opening of Spain Office

Queclink Wireless Solutions, a global provider of IoT devices and hardware, has opened a new office in Madrid, Spain, as part of its ambitious European growth strategy. The company has seen the volume of shipped products across the continent increase by almost 50% year-on-year, while headcount has more than doubled in the past 12 months. This latest facility will strengthen Queclink’s presence in Southern Europe, bring sales and technical support closer to customers and partners, and drive further growth.

“We have seen strong demand for our portfolio of products in the past 12 to 18 months, including vehicle and asset trackers, video telematics, industrial routers and customisation services,” explains Alejandro Patino, Vice President of Global Sales at Queclink Wireless Solutions. “It is crucial that our local capabilities within Europe continue to develop as the business expands to ensure we can respond to market needs and deliver the necessary levels of support.”

A dedicated team will be based at the office covering sales, presales and field application engineering (FAE) roles. The Madrid operation will serve the Southern region and support the wider European business, complementing an existing office in Zagreb, Croatia. Further recruitment is planned in Spain and other key markets following recent appointments in the UK, France, Poland, Hungary and Croatia.

“We have ambitious plans for 2027, especially around our video telematics proposition, so we need to have the infrastructure in place to maximise the potential of hardware and software developments, as well as our recently launched Queclink Connect solution. We also want to contribute our tracking, connectivity and IoT expertise to government, smart city and road safety projects within the UK and mainland Europe. Expanding our locally based presence will help us better understand requirements and collaborate with partners to take advantage of any opportunities,” adds Alejandro Patino.
