Transtector’s DPR indoor data surge protectors (SPDs), now available from Mouser, are designed to protect critical equipment in 10/100/1000 Base-T or Gigabit Ethernet/PoE++ data networks while remaining transparent to data throughput. These indoor-style SPDs use Silicon Avalanche Suppression Diode (SASD) or Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) technology to provide effective protection against electrical transients caused by external lightning and internal switching events. The Transtector DPR series supports long-term system reliability by protecting against high amounts of repetitive transient energy while maintaining a very low clamping voltage.
The ALPU SPDs are industrial Gigabit Ethernet/PoE++ surge protection devices for data line applications designed for outdoor conditions. The ALPU series offers a broad range of surge protection options to meet network requirements, including SASD and hybrid SASD/GDT topologies. The rugged design and non-degrading surge protection are ideal for cameras, radios, and various POE/POE++ applications. These SPDs feature a rugged enclosure, patented wiring grommet, and pole and wall-mount options are available to facilitate installation.
The I2R SPDs are UL1449 5th Ed. DIN-Rail-style surge protection devices designed to protect critical equipment powered by all typical electrical services. These devices support long-term system reliability by safely shunting high amounts of transient energy while maintaining a very low clamping voltage. The I2R DIN-Rail SPDs are offered in SASD and Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) options.
The APEX IMAX panel-mount SPDs use MOV or SASD + MOV hybrid technology to protect critical equipment that operates on 120VAC/240VAC split-phase and 208VAC/120VAC three-phase electrical services.
