Live feeder demonstrations at Automation UK

Infinifeed™ feeder powered by Shibaura Machine robot launches to UK market

Shibaura Machine, the world-renowned Japanese manufacturer of industrial robots, is attending Automation UK 2024. Taking place at the Coventry Building Society Arena from June 18-19, 2024, the company’s premier distributor TM Robotics will unveil an array of cutting-edge SCARA robots alongside two innovative feeding systems — the Infinifeed™ and Flexibowl® systems.

From stand D40, Shibaura Machine will introduce attendees to the full THE series of SCARA robots — including the latest additions, the THE800 and THE1000 models. These SCARA robots are engineered to handle heavy payloads of up to 20kg, making them ideal for applications requiring the manipulation of larger components. With Shibaura Machine’s renowned reliability and precision, the THE series offers unmatched performance and versatility in industrial automation.

Making its UK trade show debut, Shibaura Machine’s star exhibit will be a live demonstration of the Infinifeed™, a cutting-edge feeding system powered by a THE600 robot. Designed by Terra Automation, integrated by DOMA automation and supplied by TM Robotics, this innovative solution leverages advanced technology to provide seamless part feeding and sorting, optimising production workflows and reducing downtime. The Infinifeed™ offers unparalleled flexibility and reliability, empowering manufacturers to streamline their operations and achieve greater efficiency.

Finally, the company will demonstrate the Flexibowl® feeding system with a THL SCARA robot. Manufactured by Italian company ARS and distributed by RARUK Automation, the Flexibowl® is a flexible feeding solution capable of handling a wide range of components. Paired with the THL SCARA robot’s high-speed and high-precision capabilities, this integrated solution enhances automation efficiency and productivity across diverse manufacturing environments.

“Shibaura Machine’s exhibits highlight their commitment to driving technological advancements in industrial automation and empowering businesses to achieve new levels of productivity and competitiveness,” said Nigel Smith, Managing Director of TM Robotics. “We look forward to engaging with attendees and demonstrating the transformative capabilities of our robotic solutions.”

As the official distribution partner of Shibaura Machine, TM Robotics leverages the company’s extensive expertise and commitment to quality, resulting in both cutting-edge robotic integrations and off-the-shelf options.

Attendees are invited to visit Shibaura Machine at stand D40 to experience live demonstrations of the Infinifeed™ and Flexibowl® systems and engage with the company’s team of experts. From SCARA robots to advanced feeding systems, TM Robotics offers comprehensive automation solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of modern manufacturing.
