CWIEME Berlin invites industry experts to share innovations and insights at next year’s event

With the 2024 themes announced and the advisory board in place, the call for papers for CWIEME Berlin 2024 is now officially open. The leading event for the electrical engineering community invites industry professionals to submit their papers and to take the stage to share insights and innovations. CWIEME Berlin is a unique opportunity for experts to present invaluable research, case studies and technological advancements. The prestigious event is set to take place from May 14 to 16, 2024 at Messe Berlin, Germany.

CWIEME Berlin 2023 saw over 5,000 unique visitor attendees — an impressive 22 per cent increase from 2022. The event is a great occasion to share innovations with an ever-growing, knowledgeable and international audience, encouraging collaboration and new ideas.

This year’s event featured 50 speakers across 27 content sessions which gathered over 2,300 visits. The most attended session of CWIEME Berlin 2023 was Electrical Steel (GO & NGO) Market: Drivers, Challenges and Opportunities, presented by Wolfgang Lipp, the Vice President at SMR (Steels, Metals and Market Research). The insightful presentation focused on the e-mobility sector using non-grain oriented electrical steel.

Another interesting speaker at the 2023 event was Dr. Mustafa Seckin Aydin, Key Account Manager at thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel. The presentation was centred around Axial Flux Motor Technology, regarding power and torque density.

CWIEME Berlin has highlighted ten themes for next year’s event. These include market overview and industry trends, thermal domain: new challenges and opportunities with electrification, transformers market trends and innovations, climate change: environmental concerns regarding emissions and industry 4.0: key technologies and case studies.

“CWIEME Berlin brings together all elements of the global coil winding, transformer, electric motor, generator and e-mobility supply chain for valuable networking and insightful information sharing amongst customers, colleagues and peers,” explains Alex Oxley, senior marketing manager at CWIEME Berlin. “The event is a perfect opportunity for creating conversations and connections across the entire supply chain. Submitting a paper for our 2024 event offers the chance to present solutions and innovations to a knowledgeable and insightful audience.”

The appointed advisory board consists of well-respected and highly knowledgeable individuals who provide valuable industry insight and advice, supporting the ongoing development and growth of CWIEME global events. All proposals will be submitted to the board for review, and acceptance will be based on relevance and innovation, with real-life case studies welcome. To be considered for one of the coveted speaking slots at CWIEME Berlin 2024, papers must be submitted by the deadline of November 10, 2023.
