Poka Inc., an IFS company and the leading Industrial AI platform for Connected Work, announced the global launch of Poka AI Studio, a no-code agent builder specifically made for managing human processes on the factory floor. Poka AI Studio empowers any industrial operations team to, within weeks, build their own governed AI agents to bring connected work directly to their shop floor and, through the new Poka MCP server, make Poka content & data available to any company’s enterprise AI assistant.
Poka AI Studio and the MCP server are built on 12 years of real-time frontline workflow data and have been tested and validated at the plant level through Poka’s Early Access Program with blue-chip companies, including multinational manufacturers Mars and Nestlé. Within the Poka AI Studio are many agent use cases, such as a Scheduled Agent that reviews open issues, flags, and escalates them to the right people, and another Agent that detects abnormal values in forms and turns them into actionable insights. The production-ready MCP server connects to Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or proprietary models.
“We envision a future where every frontline worker can reach their full potential through AI, becoming empowered, augmented, and increasingly autonomous. AI Studio puts the power of AI creation directly into the hands of plant managers, continuous improvement leads, and operations teams, without requiring a team of data scientists or a costly consulting project. Every agent is grounded in real frontline Standard Operating Procedures and governed by default, so operators get actionable answers and compliance gets complete peace of mind.” said Antoine Bisson, co-founder and CEO of Poka.
The Poka AI Studio no-code environment enables operations teams to build their own agents, either from scratch or from ready templates. Most customers launch their first custom-built agent prototype in just days, then expand from there.
The new Model Context Protocol (MCP) puts new agents in touch with whatever assistants a company already uses. It does for corporate AI stacks what AI Studio does for the shop floor: it puts Poka data and workflows within reach of whichever assistant a company already uses, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or a proprietary model. A plant manager who asks their company’s AI assistant “which lines missed their changeover target this week, and why?” gets a live answer, pulled straight from Poka, with authentication, permission scoping, and governance with every call.
Manufacturers who aren’t ready to build their own agents can deploy off-the-shelf Poka AI Agents. These agents will work alongside operators, supervisors, and quality engineers and with the Poka AI Assistant to gather context, walk through multi-step processes, and take real action on troubleshooting, quality, and digital transformation.
