Highly versatile SGM series suited to a wide range of applications
The SGM series of AC and DC geared motors are suitable for low-torque machines requiring a DC, single-phase AC, or three-phase AC supply. Designed to fit into compact machines, they meet the needs of a wide range of industry applications; this includes small conveyors, sealing and filling machines, label heads, check weighers, and vision systems.

Dynamic demonstrations illustrate precision and range of Apex Dynamics’ motion control solutions
The Apex Dynamics stand at PPMA also featured two dynamic demonstrations. The first showcases the level of precision provided by the company’s planetary gearboxes by utilising a fragile pencil lead, just half a millimetre thick, and two counter-rotating discs controlled by individual servo set ups. The second demonstration exhibits Apex Dynamics’ precision rack and pinion solution with an automated lubrication system.
In addition to the SGM range, other products highlighted at the show included Apex Dynamics’ range of planetary servo gearboxes, the high efficiency hypoid series for for high-precision reductions in dynamic applications, and its range of servo worm gearboxes, supplying accuracy, low noise and long service life.
