Hai Robotics Expands Global Production to Meet Growing Customer Demand

Hai Robotics, a leading global provider of warehouse automation, has announced a major expansion of its global manufacturing capacity to serve growing customer demand.

The investment shortens lead times, strengthens supply chain resilience, and marks a strategic milestone as Hai Robotics accelerates global growth and continues delivering its advanced HaiPick Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) to some of the world’s most dynamic businesses.

“As demand for warehouse automation continues to grow, our ability to scale rapidly while maintaining world-class standards in safety, quality, and operational excellence is critical to supporting our customers worldwide,” said Richie Chen, Founder and CEO of Hai Robotics. “These new factories represent more than just physical expansion — they are a key step forward in our mission to build a truly global and adaptive manufacturing ecosystem.”

Two new manufacturing facilities increase Hai Robotics’ production capacity by 10x for HaiPick System robots. The sites, located in Yancheng, China, and Penang, Malaysia, improve flexibility and responsiveness to global supply chain conditions, enabling faster delivery and cost-effective, reliable service wherever systems are deployed.

For assembly, Hai’s own HaiPick System is used for internal storage and retrieval of parts — showcasing the reliability and efficiency customers expect in live operations.

Syncing Global Scale With Local Care

In parallel with its expanded manufacturing footprint, Hai Robotics continues to invest in its growing network of regional offices, partners, and spare parts distribution centers across the U.S., Europe, and Asia to ensure localized expertise, quick-response service, and fast delivery of parts to maximize system uptime and support lifetime service beyond initial deployment.

As the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for core system hardware, Hai maintains complete oversight of product quality from design through delivery.

Meanwhile, HaiPick Systems’ flexible, modular design — which integrates advanced robotic equipment with nearly any industry-standard racking and storage materials — allows structural components such as racking, totes, trays, or conveyors to be sourced locally, boosting cost efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

“Our global manufacturing strategy allows us to control every critical point in the production process — from initial design and sourcing to final assembly and delivery,” Chen said. “This vertical integration ensures that our customers receive consistent, reliable systems that perform at the highest level, no matter where they are in the world.”
