Signicat Appoints Sofia Busck as Country Manager Sweden to Strengthen Leadership in Regulated Sectors

Signicat, Europe’s leading provider of digital identity solutions, announces the appointment of Sofia Busck as Country Manager Sweden. Sofia will be based in Stockholm and report to Joakim Harging, Chief Enterprise Nordics & UK at Signicat.

Sofia Busck has over a decade of leadership experience across commercial strategy, customer success, and operational growth in regulated and technology-driven sectors. Most recently, as Chief Revenue Officer at the sustainability data platform Worldfavor, she was responsible for commercial strategy and accelerating customer growth. Previously, Sofia held key roles at Klarna, where she specialised in market expansion and operational excellence, driving launches in multiple international markets. Her career began at EY, where she managed strategy and operational transformation projects for financial services clients.

This background in commercial leadership, operational expertise, and deep knowledge of financial services and compliance positions Sofia to strengthen Signicat’s customer relationships and drive growth in Sweden, the wider Nordic region as well as Europe.

“Sofia’s deep understanding of financial services and her track record in operational growth, customer success, and product development will be instrumental in supporting both Swedish and international clients as they navigate complex regulatory environments and scale across borders,” says Joakim Harging, Chief Enterprise Nordics & UK at Signicat. “We are excited to welcome Sofia and confident her leadership will further strengthen Signicat’s position as the partner of choice for Swedish companies in digital identity, fraud prevention and trust services.”

Sofia’s background in market expansion at Klarna, overseeing strategic decisions between organic growth and acquisition, commercial strategy and regulatory requirements, gives her firsthand experience addressing the needs and challenges of companies looking to grow abroad. This is especially relevant for Signicat’s customers in banking, fintech, and other regulated industries who require trusted solutions for digital onboarding, authentication, electronic signing, and fraud prevention.

“I am thrilled to join Signicat at a time of transformation for digital identity and trust services,” says Sofia Busck. “Swedish enterprises face increasing complexity in regulation, security, and customer expectations. My ambition is to strengthen Signicat’s local service, drive innovation, and support our customers’ ambitions, whether they are scaling in Sweden or expanding internationally.”

With this appointment, Signicat continues its mission to build trust in the digital world, providing the Nordics and wider Europe with secure, scalable, and compliant digital identity solutions. This includes the market’s widest range of identity proofing, authentication, electronic signing, and trust orchestration solutions.
