Electronics manufacturing services provider, Ryder Industries is expanding its manufacturing operations in Vietnam with a new production facility that will increase its capacity in the country by around four times, helping OEMs build more resilient supply chains while supporting growing demand for electronics manufacturing services (EMS). Construction is expected to be completed and commence in full production by final quarter of 2027.
The development follows the successful launch of Ryder’s first Vietnam facility in 2024, which became a core part of the company’s manufacturing network within six months of opening.
The second phase of investment will create a fully integrated manufacturing campus, bringing together Ryder’s existing capabilities, such as printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), plastic injection moulding and final assembly, plus additional plastic tool making, in a single location.
The new site will occupy 22,000 square metres and comprise four buildings with a combined floor area of 38,000 square metres. Located close to Ryder’s existing Vietnam operation and approximately 30 minutes from the new Long Thanh International Airport, the facility has been designed to strengthen operational flexibility while maintaining consistent manufacturing standards across the company’s Asian operations.
As part of Ryder’s sustainability strategy, the site will also include a 1MW rooftop solar installation.

Vietnam has become an attractive manufacturing location as global businesses diversify production across Asia. Its growing electronics sector, skilled workforce and investment in infrastructure are strengthening the country’s position within international supply chains, making it an important base for companies wanting long-term manufacturing resilience. In fact, electronics exports reached $165 billion in 2025, growing by 30 per cent and accounting for 35 per cent of Vietnam’s exports.
The expansion forms part of Ryder’s long-term strategy to support customers with scalable manufacturing capacity, consistent quality and greater supply chain robustness as demand for advanced electronics continues to grow.
