MemryX and Variscite Announce a Partnership to Enhance Edge AI Solutions

MemryX Inc., a leading provider of AI accelerators for edge devices, and Variscite, a global leader in System on Module (SoM) solutions, announced a strategic partnership that transforms edge AI capabilities. The collaboration combines MemryX’s advanced AI acceleration technology with Variscite’s proven SoMs to deliver enhanced performance and efficiency for industrial and edge computing applications.

The partnership creates a powerful ecosystem that simplifies AI deployment at the edge. By integrating MemryX’s AI accelerators with Variscite’s SoMs, developers gain access to a robust platform for creating intelligent edge devices with reduced latency and improved power optimization, while significantly reducing development time and maximizing processing efficiency for complex machine learning tasks.

“Partnering with Variscite allows us to bring our high-performance AI accelerators directly to the edge, empowering developers to build smarter and more efficient devices,” said Keith Kressin, CEO of MemryX. “This collaboration underscores our commitment to simplifying AI deployment across diverse applications.”

The collaboration launches with a successful plug-and-play integration with Variscite’s i.MX 8M Plus System on Module, leveraging its built-in Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for enhanced AI performance. This collaboration extends to Variscite’s full range of SoMs, including the latest i.MX 95 and i.MX 93-based SoMs, offering developers an enhanced platform for AI/ML applications optimized by MemryX’s solutions.

Ofer Austerlitz, VP Business Development and Sales at Variscite, emphasized the partnership’s strategic value: “Integrating MemryX’s AI accelerators into our SoMs enhances our AI/ML solutions, providing customers with powerful plug and play scalable AI capabilities. This partnership aligns with our mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of the edge computing market.”

The integrated solution targets various industries, such as industrial automation, healthcare, and video management systems, enabling real-time data processing and decision-making at the edge. Developers will gain access to MemryX’s comprehensive suite of tools and technical support, facilitating seamless integration and accelerated time-to-market for AI-enabled products.

Attendees of CES 2025 (January 7–11, Las Vegas, NV) will have the opportunity to experience a live demonstration at MemryX’s Palazzo Suite (50-819). All CES attendees are welcome. The demo will showcase Variscite’s i.MX 8M Plus-based System on Module integrated with the MemryX M.2 Module, highlighting the seamless synergy between the two technologies.
