Cloudera, the only company bringing AI to data anywhere, today announced the appointment of Matt Wilson as RVP of Sales for UK and Ireland to drive growth and help organisations in the region to drive AI innovation.
Wilson joins Cloudera with more than 20 years of experience building, restructuring, and scaling high-performing revenue organisations across the EMEA region. Most recently, he served as OSF Digital’s EVP & GM, where he helped raise the Salesforce consulting partner’s profile and drive structural transformation.
Prior to OSF, Matt spent more than 11 years at Oracle in senior EMEA leadership roles – driving enterprise transformation programmes, building the Cloud Alliances & Channel team, and successfully shifting the Financial Services team from on-premise to cloud-first selling. He also previously held positions at Capgemini and founded two businesses, giving him a powerful blend of corporate leadership and strong entrepreneurial instincts.
“Cloudera really excites me because it tackles a challenge every organisation faces: turning data into value. It is uniquely positioned to help enterprises unlock more from their data, deploy AI effectively and transform how they operate. I’m eager to work with our customers, partners and teams to help drive the next wave of data-led innovation,” said Matt Wilson RVP Sales UK&I of Cloudera.
Matt joins Cloudera at a crucial moment for the company, having recently launched Cloudera Anywhere Cloud, a new hybrid data and AI platform for building, deploying, and scaling production-grade data and AI applications across multi-cloud and on-premises environments.
“We’re delighted to welcome Matt to the Cloudera team, particularly as we look to capitalise on the momentum behind our new platform. Organisations’ AI initiatives are constrained by fragmented infrastructure, lengthy upgrade cycles, and increasingly complex data sovereignty requirements. They shouldn’t have to choose between agility and control – and now they don’t. Matt will play a crucial role in taking that message to market and showing customers what’s possible with Cloudera,” said Martin Schirmer, GVP NEMEA of Cloudera.
