Yamaha to Demonstrate Latest Robots for Industrial Automation at Motek 2021

Physical exhibition and digital showroom maximise visitor opportunities

Yamaha Motor Europe FA Section will exhibit flexible and affordable robotic solutions at Motek 2021, the industrial automation showcase scheduled for October 5-8 in Stuttgart, Germany.

Live demonstrations will highlight the broad portfolio of Yamaha robots and accessories that boost productivity by raising the speed, accuracy, and repeatability of packing, placement, and assembly processes.

The demonstrations will include a YK400XE SCARA robot with Yamaha’s RCXiVY2+ vision system, individually picking mixed sweets to illustrate high-speed recognition and handling for objects of indeterminate size and shape. Yamaha’s YK-XE SCARA robots are engineered for high performance and affordability, bringing advanced and flexible automation to highly competitive manufacturing scenarios.

A second demonstration featuring the YK400XE, leveraging software created by Yamaha to integrate Asyril’s Asycube intelligent parts feeder, accelerates picking and accurate placement of bulk components. Orientation checking on-the-fly, with Yamaha’s RCXiVY2+ vision system, further boosts productivity.

Yamaha LCMR200

The LCMR200 linear conveyor module will also be in action, highlighting advanced transportation of workpieces with programmable direction, speed, and acceleration. Combining capabilities above and beyond conventional belt-and-roller conveyors, with modular flexibility, the LCMR200 can increase throughput in fully automated, semi-automated, or fully manual production lines.

Motek visitors can find Yamaha at stand 7515 in hall 7, get their daily free entry ticket and learn more about the displayed solutions by visiting https://fa.yamaha-motor-im.de/yamaha-robotics/
