Semcon to Deliver New Project with Global Train Manufacturer Talgo

Semcon has signed a new agreement with leading global train manufacturer Talgo. Semcon in Germany will support Talgo with the digital maintenance documentation of its high-speed trains. More efficient maintenance ensures an increase in train availability, quality and safety.

Spanish based Talgo is specialised in the design, manufacture and maintenance of rolling stock, with trains successfully operating in 44 countries. Semcon’s business area Product Information will support Talgo with all of the documentation needed for the maintenance work of 23 new high-speed trains, to be operated by Deutsche Bahn for domestic and international routes.

“This is a very exciting project for us at Semcon. We are looking forward to supporting Talgo with user-friendly technical documentation, making sure the service technicians are always up-to-date to be able to provide efficient maintenance”, says Stefan Moldenhauer, Country Manager, Semcon Product Information Germany.

Semcon has extensive experience within the rail industry and provides customers with leading training deployment as well as optimised repair and maintenance procedures. In the new project, together with Talgo, Semcon will provide expertise in optimised maintenance procedures for railway vehicles and sound systems alongside extensive practical workshop experience. The project will initially engage up to five experts and span over three years. Read more about Semcon’s offering within the rail industry.
