Future of Load Moving: MasterMover Unveils Expanded PowerSteered Range

Six new models and cutting-edge technology options redefine heavy load movement across industries.

MasterMover, a global leader in electric tug solutions, today announced a significant expansion of its best-in-class PowerSteered range, introducing six new models designed to meet diverse load-moving challenges.

This expansion reinforces MasterMover’s position at the forefront of material handling innovation, building upon a legacy of excellence recognised by prestigious accolades such as the King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation and The Manufacturer MX Award for Product Design & Innovation.

The new additions to its pedigree PowerSteered range include the PS800+, PS1000+, PS1200+, PS1500+, PS2000+, and PS2500+. These models bolster the existing range, which features the world’s most powerful electric tug solution, the PS7000+, providing businesses with an unmatched array of options.

“Our new expanded PowerSteered range epitomises MasterMover’s unwavering commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers in an increasingly complex industrial landscape.” James Jones, Partner – MasterMover.

“With these new models, we’re not just offering more choice; we’re redefining what’s possible in material handling, combining power, precision, and innovation in ways that will transform operations across various industries.” Jones continued.

Key Features of the Expanded PowerSteered Range Include:

Innovative Power Steering Enables Fingertip Control

The new models feature intuitive power steering, making the movement of heavy loads effortless for operators. This feature significantly improves ergonomics, steering abilities and delivers enhanced positioning, even when moving the largest wheeled loads.

Unparalleled Technology Options

MasterMover introduces a suite of new control options available on the new models, catering to diverse operational requirements:

Pedestrian-operated (Tiller): A classic design across its other product ranges, MasterMover has launched a pedestrian control option on its new PowerSteered models, enhanced with power steering for effortless operation.

Remote Control: Allowing operators to control heavy loads from a distance, a remote control operation delivers improved visibility and safety.

MultiLink: Recognised by the King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation, MasterMover’s MultiLink offering is an innovative technology which enables an operator to control multiple machines with a single remote control.

TillerLink: A groundbreaking new feature allowing operators to simultaneously control two machines through pedestrian operation, perfect for moving large loads with maximum manoeuvrability.

Autonomous (AGV): For businesses looking to automate their material movement, the new PowerSteered models are available as Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). Boasting both Line Follow navigation and advanced natural feature technology for fully automated material handling, the new models offer businesses the flexibility to future-proof handling processes

Building on a legacy of innovation, MasterMover’s new PowerSteered models offer advanced features that set new industry standards.

“The introduction of these new models and technologies is a game-changer for industries grappling with complex material handling challenges and processes,” commented James Jones, Partner at MasterMover. “Our latest innovations have the potential to significantly improve productivity, safety, and operational efficiency across manufacturing and beyond.”

Featuring intuitive power steering and a range of models to handle different weight capacities, the new range makes steering heavy loads effortless. Light steering and a new front-facing camera deliver excellent manoeuvrability and visibility, even when connecting to large loads.

For industries looking towards automation, MasterMover’s AGV options with Line Follow navigation or advanced natural feature technology offer a glimpse into the future of material handling. These systems can be seamlessly integrated into existing workflows, paving the way for smarter, more efficient factories and processes.

“As we unveil this expanded range, we’re not just launching new products; we’re opening up new possibilities for our clients,” added Jones. “From improving worker safety to enabling leaner, more agile operations, the impact of these innovations will be felt across entire supply chains.”

The expanded PowerSteered range is now available globally through MasterMover’s extensive network of distributors and direct sales channels.
