The Latest Innovations in Engineering and Manufacturing

Advanced Engineering announces innovation and sustainability trail finalists

Leading manufacturing and engineering exhibition, Advanced Engineering, has announced the 23 companies that have been selected to be a part of its innovation and sustainability trails. The chosen exhibitors will be highlighted on the show’s floor plan and showcased to visitors during a series of scheduled tours taking place across the two days of the event.

Compo Tech PLUS, Resonate testing Limited, RED Scientific, PRF Composite Materials, Texture Jet, South West Metal Finishing, IMETRUM, STRUERS, Wickert Presstech, RVmagnetics, Origin Engineering Solutions EOS Electro Optical Systems, BeyondMath, Sigmatex, Comppair Technologies and Trumf have all been selected to take part thanks to their innovative products and services.

Technologies on display include a carbon composite materials bike frame, a fire retardant ultra-fast prepreg system, surface processing technology, a new chemical immersion treatment, a new type of extensometer, a flexible specimen holder and the smallest passive custom sensor in the world.

A further six technologies have been selected to be a part of Advanced Engineering’s sustainability trail thanks to their environmentally friendly nature. The PIX Sustainable Warehouse Storage Solution and Memmert Constant Climate Chamber will both be on display. Elsewhere, Troy Group will showcase its services in carbon emissions reporting, BeyondMath will demonstrate its AI-driven physics simulation and City & Guilds will be on hand to share information about its latest roles in engineering.

The innovation and sustainability tours will take place twice daily at 10am and 2pm for visitors. By downloading the show app, attendees can choose to receive push notifications when the tours are about to begin.

The tours are just one of many reasons why Advanced Engineering is set to be such an exciting event. There are also hundreds of speakers taking part across the show’s five stages, and a series of technologies chosen to fill the event’s feature slots, including prototype models of new rockets, F1 cars, drones and electric planes.

Advanced Engineering will take place on November 1 and 2, 2023 at the NEC, Birmingham. There’s still time to register for a visitor pass by heading to the Advanced Engineering website — www.advancedengineeringuk.com.
