Nominations Open for the 12th AbilityNet Tech4Good Awards 2023

Nominations for the Tech4Good Awards 2023 are now open. Created by UK disability tech charity AbilityNet in 2011, these inspiring awards celebrate people and organisations using tech to make the digital world a better place.

Having recognised over a hundred amazing winners, the Tech4Good Awards return with exciting new categories and a brand-new panel of judges to be revealed soon. The awards are organised by AbilityNet and Attendable and are open to businesses, charities, government bodies and individuals from around the world.

The awards are free to enter, and nominations are open until 5 May 2023. Finalists will be shortlisted in May and winners announced at the awards ceremony in June (TBC).

Mark Walker from AbilityNet says:

We are surrounded by stories about the harm that digital technology can do, but the Tech4Good Awards celebrate the amazing people and organisations who use tech to make the world a better place. Their hard work and creativity inspires us all to use tech to address the world’s biggest problems – from sustainability to disability inclusion and healthy lives for all.

From game-changing startups to inspiring volunteers, some use existing tech in smart new ways, while others push the boundaries of innovation, such as using Artificial Intelligence to help solve some of society’s biggest challenges. By sharing their stories, we can inspire others to unleash the power of Tech4Good.”

Catherine Grinyer from Attendable, Tech4Good’s strategic delivery partner, says:

There is an awesome global community of entrepreneurs and innovators using tech to solve some of the biggest issues we face such as social inclusion, disability, education and sustainability. The Tech4Good Awards celebrate the new tech and innovation that are being used to make the digital world a better place. We can’t wait to shine a light on the nominations.”

Award partners include AbilityNet, Attendable, Access Austria, Access Israel, Crowdfunder, Deque, Fundacion Once, Good Things Foundation, IAAP, inABLE, Planet Abled and Valuable 500 who will be helping us reach networks across the planet.
