ESPEC and Unitemp to Showcase Advanced Environmental Stress Chambers at Battery Tech Expo

ESPEC, a global leader in environmental test chambers, and its UK distributor Unitemp, are excited to announce their participation in the upcoming Battery Tech Expo at Silverstone, Stand B30, Hall 2, on April 25th, 2024. At the event, Unitemp will feature ESPEC’s cutting-edge AR Series Environmental Stress Chambers, including the latest addition of the Eco-Mode feature.

The AR Series chambers are renowned for their high performance, offering a wide temperature and humidity control range essential for rigorous testing requirements. Equipped with ESPEC’s latest control instrumentation and built-in Ethernet for remote monitoring, the AR Series ensures precise and efficient testing protocols.

Key features of the AR Series Environmental Stress Chambers include a temperature range from -70°C to +180°C and a humidity range (ARSF only) from 10% to 98%orh. Additionally, they offer a temperature change rate ranging from 4K/minute to 18K/minute, conforming to IEC test standards for automotive parts, along with frost-free operation (ARSF) and energy-saving controls, including the newly introduced Eco-Mode feature.

The new Eco-Mode feature which was introduced in response to rising energy costs and environmental concerns, allows for significant reductions in power consumption during testing. By enabling Eco-Mode within the temperature and humidity settings, users can achieve up to 85% power savings compared to conventional operation, without compromising test quality.

Jack Brown, Sales Director of Unitemp, expressed enthusiasm about the forthcoming show and the AR Series, stating, “We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand and explaining how the enhanced AR Series with the Eco-Mode can provide substantial energy savings without compromising the unparalleled performance that the AR Series is known for. This is a win-win for businesses seeking both environmental responsibility and cost-effective environmental test solutions.”

ESPEC remains dedicated to sustainability and providing environmentally conscious solutions to its customers. The Eco-Mode feature aligns with ESPEC’s ongoing efforts to contribute to global sustainability initiatives and support customers in achieving their environmental goals.
