East West Manufacturing™ Appoints Ryan Flynn as Chief Executive Officer

Seasoned Executive Brings Strong Track Record of Integrating Complex Operations, Improving Performance, and Developing New Business

East West Manufacturing, a leading Integrated Manufacturing Solutions (IMS) company that designs and manufacturers complex electronic and electro-mechanical products, has announced the appointment of Ryan Flynn as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Flynn succeeds co-founder and CEO Scott Ellyson, who will move to the role of Chairman. Flynn will assume the role by June 15, 2026.

As Chairman, Ellyson will maintain his significant ownership stake in East West and work closely with Flynn to support a seamless leadership transition.

Flynn brings more than 25 years of experience running large industrial and manufacturing businesses in Asia, Europe, and North America across multiple industries, such as Aerospace and Defense, Electronics, and Automotive. Most recently, he served as Regional Managing Director, North America for The Weir Group.

Flynn is a proven global business leader with deep experience leading complex operations through periods of growth, operational alignment, and changing market conditions. Known for his strong customer focus and ability to build high-performing teams, he has successfully led organizations to improved performance while driving new business development. Flynn previously served on the executive teams of both ITT Inc., as President of the Connect & Control Technologies Division, and Konecranes PLC, where he was Executive Vice President of the Equipment Division, bringing decades of operational and strategic leadership experience across global markets and through challenging economic cycles.

“We are delighted to welcome Ryan Flynn as our new CEO to drive this next chapter in East West’s growth and transformation as a leading IMS company. Ryan brings a wealth of leadership and business transformation experience with a relentless focus on innovation and customer excellence,” said Ellyson. “I am confident Ryan will build on our strong culture and people, engineering-first business model, and global manufacturing footprint advancing the company’s strategic vision.”

“This is an exciting time to join East West and lead an organization that is known for solving complex engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain challenges,” said Flynn. “East West’s commitment to making a difference for its people and customers are foundational pillars I look forward to embracing and building upon as we accelerate the next chapter of growth.”

Flynn holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa.
