Cohesity Recruits Julien Mousqueton as Field CISO for Europe to Drive Cyber Resilience and Innovation

Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security and management, announces the appointment of Julien Mousqueton as Field Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Europe.

Mousqueton brings over 25 years of experience in IT, cyber security, and resilience, further strengthening Cohesity’s commitment to protecting, securing, and providing insights into the world’s data in an evolving threat landscape.

He joins Cohesity following a ten-year tenure at Computacenter, a leading independent technology and services provider. He most recently served as Chief Technology Officer, directing technology strategy and innovation with a strong focus on cyber security and resilience.  Mousqueton also serves as a reservist advisor for the Office Anti-Cybercriminalité (OFAC) in France, a specialist agency within the French National Police responsible for investigating cybercrime.

His previous experience also includes technology leadership roles at Groupe AGRICA, a social protection group dedicated to the agriculture sector, and experience in the public sector and financial services industry with technical positions at CPAM de Paris, France’s state social security office, and global investment bank and asset manager, Natexis.

“We are delighted to welcome Julien to Cohesity. His extensive experience in cyber resilience, combined with his passion for innovation and cyber community engagement, will be invaluable as we continue to help organisations across Europe strengthen their security posture and protect their most critical asset – their data,” said Aditya Vasudevan, GVP Customer Cyber Resilience Services at Cohesity.

A recognised cyber security expert, Mousqueton is also the creator of ransomware.live, an freely accessible, real-time platform that tracks global ransomware activity. It provides insights into the threat landscape to help the cyber security community stay informed and be better prepared to respond to attacks.

“I am thrilled to join Cohesity at such a pivotal time for cyber security and data resilience. The threat landscape is constantly evolving, and I look forward to working with our clients and partners across Europe to help them stay ahead of cyber threats and ensure their data is secure, resilient, available, and insightful,” said Julien Mousqueton, Field CISO for Europe.

Mousqueton was awarded a BSc in Computer Science from Teesside University in the UK. He has been accredited as a master expert in data security, systems, and research by Ecole 2600 in France and holds a university diploma in Technical European Studies (DUEET) in Computer Science from the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, France.

A keen rugby player, Mousqueton now watches from the sidelines and is an avid fan of Montpellier.
