Although the gearboxes suffered cosmetic damage and won’t be sold, they are still going strong. Apex Dynamics UK recently discovered an unexpected application for its products — although not one it would endorse. The gearbox specialist had a break-in at its site in Nuneaton, with the intruder/s using two robust XLD planetary gearboxes to break through a wall at the back of the property into the adjacent premises, a beauty business. Nothing was stolen from either business and, despite the damage, the gearboxes still work. Much like its resilient products, Apex Dynamics continues to expand, undeterred by the incident.
