ITCAB Gains 10-day Efficiency Boost with Fluke Networks Tools

French startup relies on the accurate and reliable test equipment to ensure consistent network performance for customers

Fluke Networks, the worldwide leader in certification, troubleshooting, and installation tools for critical network cabling infrastructure, has enabled French startup ITCAB to save up to 10 days’ worth of technician time on large-scale projects using its advanced test solutions.

Founded in 2022, ITCAB is a fast-growing company specialising in the design and deployment of low-voltage cabling, providing copper and fibre optic cabling across a wide range of sectors. From defence and healthcare to data centres and logistics, the design and maintenance of its customers’ IT networks demands precision, efficiency, and reliability. Underpinning this is a set of stringent regulatory standards that the network cabling industry must adhere to. ITCAB requires the correct tools to ensure it meets the necessary compliance needs of its customers.

To uphold these standards from the outset, ITCAB chose to work with Fluke Networks to ensure that every network cabling installation completed is as durable and qualitative as possible with state-of-the-art measuring tools. The founders were familiar with Fluke Networks from earlier in their careers and were keen to continue working with tools that they knew they could trust.

Today, ITCAB’s technicians utilise four pieces of Fluke Networks equipment:

·         DSX-5000 CableAnalyzerTM for RJ45 twisted pair infrastructures – enables technicians to carry out any required measurements in the field and anticipate potential compliance issues before they arise

·         OptiFiberTM Pro reflectometer for fibre optic networks – helps technicians to work more efficiently using automated configuration, expert mode, and detailed event mapping

·         CertiFiberTM Pro bi-directional duplex photometry solution – simplifies the certification process for fibre optic networks by performing efficient and accurate tests in data centres, LANs, WANs, and telecom networks

·         MultiFiberTM Pro – intervenes on high-density fibre optic trunk infrastructures with MTP connectors

For ITCAB, one of the biggest strengths is Fluke Networks’ reliability. Consistent, accurate results are essential for assessing network performance. In addition, intuitive user interfaces simplify the measurement process, while LinkWareTM reporting software streamlines data collection and analysis. Technicians can easily retrieve diagnostic data, perform detailed searches, and generate comprehensive reports which can be shared with technical teams and customers as required.

With Fluke Networks equipment, ITCAB saves an average of 15-30 seconds per test, which for projects requiring up to 10,000 tests represents around 10 days’ work saved for one technician.

“It’s extremely efficient – being able to make the right decisions at the right time can really speed up our work,” commented Corentin Cunat, Founder and Co-CEO of ITCAB. “If we had chosen other products, we would have had many more tasks to manage, which would have slowed down the whole process and increased costs.”

“With rising demand for bandwidth and the constant evolution of technology, efficient testing, certification and troubleshooting tools have a measurable impact on productivity and customer trust,” added Nigel Hedges, Application and Technical Specialist at Fluke Networks. “Our solutions provide end-to-end visibility across copper, fibre and active networks, empowering teams to streamline workflows, simplify compliance and deliver better business outcomes. In today’s competitive landscape, investing in the right tools isn’t about keeping up – it’s about staying ahead.”

With ITCAB’s rapid growth, the demand for advanced testing equipment will only increase. To continue meeting customer expectations and stay ahead of evolving industry regulations, ITCAB is expanding its fleet of Fluke Networks devices, ensuring it remains at the forefront of network testing solutions.

“ITCAB significantly reduced time spent on documentation and troubleshooting, leading to better performance and higher customer satisfaction across multiple high-profile projects. This is the perfect example of how businesses can achieve more efficiency through smarter testing,” said Mr Hedges
