FANUC to showcase next-level productivity with new ROBOSHOT model

Hall 9/U70, Interplas 2026, 2-4 June, NEC, Birmingham

The latest model in FANUC’s all-electric, energy-saving range of injection moulding machines will take centre stage on stand U70 (Hall 9) at Interplas 2026. Visitors can witness first-hand the flexible, fast and cost-saving benefits of the new ROBOSHOT S350C, which retains the compact footprint of its predecessor with the addition of wider tie-bar spacing to accommodate larger and deeper moulds. Also featuring faster operating speeds and new AI functionality, this will be the first UK showing of the S350C outside of FANUC’s premises, following its unveiling at the company’s Open House event in January.

FANUC will be running a 32-cavity blister pack mould live on the stand throughout the event, showcasing the machine’s speed, repeatability and precision in a demanding high-output environment. Particularly suited to medical, packaging and pharmaceutical packaging applications, visitors will be able to see first-hand how the S350C delivers the consistency and reliability required for regulated industries and high-volume production. If you missed it first time around, Interplas will be your second chance to get up close and personal with the next generation of injection moulding technology!

Productive partnership

The event will also serve as the perfect platform to highlight the ongoing successful partnership between FANUC and Hi-Tech Automation. FANUC has worked with Hi-Tech as its plastics system integration partner for over 18 years. With FANUC joining Hi-Tech as its on-stand partner at Interplas this year, the two companies will showcase to visitors the countless successful projects they have worked on during this time, and outline the benefits of their combined mechanical expertise and high-level programming to support smart, connected manufacturing.

8-year commercial guarantee

In further evidence of the company’s commitment to supporting the UK plastics industry, FANUC experts will also be on hand to discuss their latest service offering – an industry-leading 8-year commercial guarantee on all new ROBOSHOT machines. Reflecting the superior reliability credentials of the range, the package will enable end-users to buy with confidence without fear of any hidden surprises – for the next 8 YEARS.

“This really is a game changer for injection moulding firms, and shows just how strongly we believe in the ROBOSHOT range,” says Sam Carr, ROBOSHOT Sales Manager for FANUC UK. “We had a great response to the launch in January, and we can’t wait to discuss this offer in more detail with visitors to Interplas, while demonstrating the multiple benefits of the latest model live on our stand.”

Futureproofing the plastics sector

During the three-day event, Sam Carr will represent FANUC as part of a panel of industry experts debating the future of the plastics industry. Like many sectors within manufacturing, plastic firms have faced challenges on multiple fronts in recent years, and Sam is keen to outline the support available.

“Energy costs are crippling some businesses and the latest events in the Middle East are only compounding this issue,” he states. “Now, more than ever, it is crucial that moulding firms place energy efficiency at the top of their agenda and ensure that they look for lean, efficient, sustainable solutions when considering any new equipment purchase. Keeping control of variable costs such as energy and maintenance will help businesses to remain competitive in a rapidly changing world. During Interplas, I look forward to discussing the ways in which FANUC can help to support companies to do this – and in turn, secure a brighter future for the plastics industry.”
