360-degree safety bubble for Robotics

TI mmWave radar sensors create surround-view slow down and stop zones which enable robots to detect and react to their environment. Depending on the identified object’s speed and angle, the robot can make the decision whether it can safely continue on its path, if it needs to slow down, or even stop completely.

Now, robots can intelligently detect and respond to items found in warehouse settings including:

• Pallet jacks and carts

• Obstacles such as boxes, fencing, and other robots
